Sintayehu Mesele Yiregu, a farmer from Bura woreda in East Sidama zone of the Sidama region, has been dedicated to her coffee farm since 2010 E.C. A mother of six, Sintayehu’s hard work paid off in the 2024 Cup of Excellence Ethiopia competition, where her coffee earned 7th place with a score of 89.03 points
Almaz Gujo Ergiso, a dedicated coffee farmer from East Sidama Bensa Woreda in the Sidama region, made a notable impact in the 2024 Cup of Excellence Ethiopia. She entered the competition with her natural Sidama coffee and achieved a commendable score of 87.04, securing 26th place. Her achievement not only underscores her commitment to quality coffee production but also brings recognition to the exceptional coffee grown in her region.
Etenesh Gudura Guye, a 37-year-old coffee producer from East Sidama zone Bona woreda, has been dedicated to working on her family farm since 1990 E.C. Married with six children, Etenesh has built a reputation for her commitment to traditional coffee farming. In the 2024 Cup of Excellence Ethiopia competition, her coffee earned an impressive score of 88.96 points. This achievement highlights Etenesh’s hard work and dedication, marking a significant milestone in her coffee-producing journey
Azalech Getahun Mengistu, a 31-year-old coffee farmer from Bona Woreda in the Sidama region, achieved remarkable success in the Cup of Excellence Ethiopia 2024. Married with two children, she scored 87.61 points and ranked 14th in the competition. especially considering she started coffee farming only four years ago.
